5 more days until this sugar detox is done!!! There’s an abundance of strawberries now and I can’t wait to enjoy some again. I also finally caved in and ordered an ice cream maker from Amazon so I can make coconut milk based Paleo Ice cream at home. I look forward to experimenting next week and hopefully nail a good flavor combination!
Tonight’s dinner was a simple but awesome dish that will be added back to my menu again next week because the picture/s I took didn’t convey how good the dish tasted. It looked yellow and definitely fell flat. Kitchen light photography is a big no no!
Here’s my Day 16 recap on the 21 Day Sugar Detox:
Breakfast – Banana bread and toasted coconut butter, bulletproof coffee
Lunch – Slow Cooker Carnitas (leftovers)
Dinner – Baked Mahi Mahi with a Jalapeno Lime Butter Sauce and roasted asparagus
2. Cravings – Vegetable chips. thankfully I have my jar of toasted coconut butter to eat by the spoonful!
3. Mood – Well rested, a little bit stressed out at work but nothing I can’t handle.
4. Sleep – 6 hours of deep sleep.
5. Exercise – Rest Day
